H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation,” Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU) honoured the outstanding female graduates from the 32nd batch at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), the 42nd batch at UAE University (UAEU), and the 21st batch at Zayed University (ZU) respectively.
In this memorable ceremony, Sheikha Fatima expressed that the remarkable female graduates from UAEU, ZU and HCT represent valuable additions to the national economy and will supply the labour market with a diverse range of qualified human resources.
While congratulating the outstanding female graduates, Sheikha Fatima wished them good luck and high success noting this as the beginning of their professional lives.
She urged and motivated the graduating ladies to double their efforts to support highlight the scientific and technological progress witnessed by the country under the rule of its leadership considering the regular guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikha Fatima identified the pioneering initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to support the country’s sustainability development.
Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, expressed his gratitude by thanking Sheikha Fatima for honouring the graduate students and her broader interest in ensuring the facility of knowledge and education to girls in the nation. He expressed his feelings of pride at the outstanding success of the Emirati students, which is the result of their hard work and perseverance.
