A former educator who contributed significantly to developing an Indian university in Dubai has received numerous honors.

An Overview

Dr. B. Ramjee, the former director of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai, died on April 1 in the United States after a long illness. He was 68 years old and a US citizen of Indian descent, according to MAHE Dubai officials, in an interview with Gulf News.

“From behalf of the entire MAHE Dubai community, we express our heartfelt condolences on Dr. B. Ramjee’s passing,” said Niranjan Jayakumar, CEO of Manipal Education in the Middle East and Africa. He will be remembered as a leader who truly cared about his work colleagues, students, and faculty.

Dr. Ramjee was an essential contributor to the expansion and development of MAHE Dubai throughout the region. His tradition of academic greatness and devotion to sustaining youthful personalities will keep motivating us.

Following Manipal Education Group’s long-term objectives for the region. He oversaw the strategic operations of the campus during his time as the university’s administrative and academic head.
