NALCO Introduced 240 Smart Classrooms in Government Schools

NALCO, the Navaratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has introduced 300 Smart Classrooms in 120 Govt. schools as a part of celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. EdCIL (India) Limited, a CPSE of Govt. of India, has commissioned this flagship education project of NALCO.

This launch function was held in hybrid mode, in the presence of Union Secretary, Mines Alok Tandon and Nalco CMD Sridhar Patra. NALCO launched the 240 smart classrooms in 91 schools in the first phase, which included schools from the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Khordha. And an inclusive number of 60 smart classrooms in 29 schools is already in the radical stage of completion.

This program will offer a modernized method of learning and better communication through a graphical presentation, which will help to improve the teaching process and the overall quality of education, mainly in the tribal-dominated aspiring districts.
