If the institution is situated in the heart of a fast-growing metro city, it will open up even more avenues for the further personal and professional development of the learner.
Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (MBCET) is one such College, which is situated on the picturesque Mar Ivanios Vidyanagar campus, within the limits of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. It is a true destination for quality education with values embedded. The variety of institutions of Higher Education in the same fortified campus, governed by the Major Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram of the Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, are working synergistically for the betterment of the society and the Nation at large. The College secured accreditation by NAAC in 2016 with an A Grade and a CGPA of 3.13 out of 4.
MBCET also got accreditation for five B.Tech Programmes of CE, CS, EC, EE and ME from the National Board of Accreditation in 2016 and every three years since then.
There has been consistently high enrolment in all the Programmes. The newly started UG programme of CS(AI) and Electrical and Computer Engineering also attracted very good enrolment in 2022.
The seven Mtech specializations have the latest curriculum. It includes internships and industry-designed electives. Similar to the leading Institutions of National importance, the second year is earmarked for Project Work. Students can work on the Projects assigned by the Industries so that they can start earning very early.
