Stephanie Geiger’s dedication to infusing fun into education is making a significant impact on students at Caseville Public Schools. With seven years of teaching experience, including three years specifically teaching third grade, Geiger’s passion for education shines through in her interactions with students and her commitment to sharing her love of learning with them.

“Teaching has always been my passion, and I have a deep affection for children,” Geiger expressed. “I thoroughly enjoy teaching and feel a strong connection to Caseville. It’s a close-knit community where everyone knows each other. Our community provides tremendous support to our school, making it a wonderful place to work. I genuinely find fulfillment in what I do.”

Geiger, like many educators, found inspiration in one of her former high school teachers, who ignited her passion for teaching through his humor and dedication to students. His approach left a lasting impression on Geiger, influencing her teaching style in her classroom today.

“My high school math teacher was a major influence in my decision to pursue teaching,” she recalled. “He encouraged me and I admired his ability to use humor to captivate students in the classroom. I strive to create a similar positive atmosphere in my own classroom, where students feel engaged and supported. Witnessing my students’ enthusiasm for learning brings me immense joy and fulfillment.”

Geiger has dedicated the past several years to teaching elementary students, covering every grade from kindergarten to third grade, where she currently teaches. She recognizes the significance of maintaining a positive attitude in the classroom, as it fosters a conducive environment for learning.

“I believe in setting the tone and cultivating a positive climate with my students,” Geiger explained. “By approaching each day with optimism and a positive outlook, I aim to inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning in my students. Teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the classroom atmosphere, and I strive to bring positivity and laughter into our daily activities.”
