The leading job simulation platform Forage recognized the education institutions leading the way to find innovative ways to set their students up for success in the workplace.
Forage, in its inaugural University and Educator Awards, awarded De Montfort University a respectable place in the top 20 universities, for its dedication and investment into the future of its students, by ensuring all students have the opportunity to gain valuable employability skills alongside their studies; including guaranteed work experience opportunities.
Richard Bowden, Head of Careers and Graduate Success, De Montfort University said: “This recognition is further validation of the outstanding work that has been put into developing the institution’s approach to careers support and provision over the past few years.”

Richard added further “The opening of our new Careers Hub, a dedicated space for our students to access careers-related support, takes place in early March 2023. “This is another example of the commitment the university is making to its students so that they are confident, prepared, and equipped with the skills they need to successfully progress in their professional lives after they graduate.”
Analyzing over 100 universities, De Montfort University’s Career Department was named as The Best University Careers/Employability Service at the 2021 National Undergraduate Employability (NUE) Awards. In this new ranking, Forage appreciated the efforts of De Montfort’s careers team for its enhancing employability skills, application support, commitment towards specially tailored career support, and guaranteed work experience opportunities with well-known organizations.
