The S P Jain Group has announced its acquisition of California Miramar University (CMU), marking a significant expansion of its global educational footprint into the United States. This strategic move allows students to benefit from S P Jain’s extensive international network, which includes campuses in Singapore, Dubai, Sydney, India, London, and now the U.S. Graduates will have the option to earn a U.S. degree, enhancing their global credentials.
CMU’s San Jose campus, situated in Silicon Valley, will offer advanced undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Artificial Intelligence, including an MBA and MS in AI. These programs are accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) and approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Graduates will be eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT), facilitating valuable industry experience in the U.S.
The new campus’s location in the heart of Silicon Valley provides students with proximity to leading tech companies, enhancing their learning experience and job prospects through direct industry engagement. Additionally, the campus will offer access to state-of-the-art AI tools and technologies.
S P Jain Group and CMU are also introducing an innovative AI tutor technology, developed in Silicon Valley. This technology complements expert faculty by offering personalized educational support, including customized learning plans, instant feedback, and a bridge between academic learning and industry needs.
