Nord Anglia Students Displayed Exceptional Results in IBDP Examination

Nord Anglia Education, the world’s largest international schools organization, today announced exceptional results for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for the 2023/2024 academic year. As the largest IBDP provider globally, Nord Anglia had 1,895 students sit for the exam this year.

Nord Anglia’s IB students achieved an impressive average diploma score of 34 points, surpassing last year’s average of 33 points and exceeding this year’s global IBDP average by nearly four points. This marks the 11th consecutive year that Nord Anglia’s students have outperformed the global IBDP point average. Amman Academy in Jordan achieved the highest IBDP average among all Nord Anglia schools with 40 points for the second consecutive year.

Collège Alpin Beau Soleil in Switzerland, listed in the prestigious Spear’s Schools Index, scored 37 points, while Nord Anglia International School Dubai achieved an average of over 36 points. Remarkably, 70% of Nord Anglia’s IB schools celebrated students scoring 40+ points, including perfect scores of 45 at Nord Anglia International School Dubai, British International School Ho Chi Minh City, and Oakridge International School Gachibowli.

The Nord Anglia graduating class of 2024 received offers to study at some of the world’s top 100 universities, including the King’s College London, Stanford University, Harvard University, the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and many other leading institutions.
