Pandit Deendayal Energy University Reliance Industries Chairmen Mukesh Ambani officiated at convocation, speaking to students: He urged students not to lose sight of critical thinking amidst the imperatives of technological revolutions-a new era led by Artificial Intelligence. While he explained how AI is a powerful learning tool, he requested not to bank on it alone but continue sharpening their analytical acumen and problem-solving abilities.

During his speech, Ambani described five guiding principles that had contributed to his success and encouraged students to embrace them:

  1. Find Your True Passion

He encouraged the students to find out what will make their soul fire burn bright and to invest all of their energy into things they are passionate about. Passion, he said, turns work into joy and challenges into opportunities for growth.

  1. Lifelong Learning

He needed constant learning; much more now with fast technological advancement to keep the soul and survive. In fact, he said the chief virtue was inquisitiveness. Hence one has to create lifelong learning habits, as told by Ambani

  1. Virtue of Giving

Ambani said knowledge would expand by giving. “The other kind of help makes things increase. You, in a way, help a group move forward together on the same progressive trajectory.

  1. Invest in Meaningful Relationships

He motivates his students to spend time in actual human relationships, which he calls “Dil Ke Rishtey” or heart relationships. According to him, trust, respect, and character building are the bedrock of both personal and professional successes.

  1. Value Family Ties

He also added that family is the strength in life. Giving importance and holding onto family relationships gives a solid support system through life.

He further described the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “our Gurudev” and admitted that the vision is influencing PDEU. He said, “Instead of taking away freedom-thinking decision-making, learn to accept AI as a facilitator in learning. The synergy between technology and wisdom may perhaps empower the students to build a progressively brighter, more innovative future.”.
